HOW WE GOT STARTED...

The Local Thread started with a simple idea: make it easier for our community to create great apparel.

What began as a local Hoboken business has grown through the relationships we’ve built with the businesses, schools, teams, nonprofits and organizations around us. Along the way, we saw an opportunity to offer something different—a more personal, creative approach to custom apparel, with better products, thoughtful design and someone there to help from the first idea to the finished piece.

Today, we’re proud to create and decorate right here in Hoboken while continuing to grow alongside the community that got us started.
